Dusk falls over the Vale of Clwyd in North Wales as I stand entranced on the slopes of Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), watching as the clear skies to the west glow orange in the autumnal twilight.
Silhouetted on the western horizon like a row of tiny toy soldiers are the recently constructed turbines of the Clocaenog windfarm, overlooking Llyn Brenig.
The subject of a lot of local controversy, I find the turbines eerily beautiful, especially when viewed under such beautiful light.
And they certainly make an interesting addition to a photograph.
In fact, if it weren't for the turbines I probably wouldn't have taken this shot.
