The end of a lovely Saturday in late September 2020, spent exploring Barmouth and the Mawddach estuary on the west coast of Wales.
My wife Liz and I decided to round off our day looking westwards from Barmouth promenade out over the Irish Sea as the sun slowly sank towards the far horizon.
Of course, I couldn't let the opportunity go without filming a time laspe sequence of the sunset, so while we sat overlooking the beach at high tide, including a handy line of groynes pointing out to sea, my camera was clicking away, recording the hundreds of still images needed to create my Barmouth Sunset Timelapse #1 video.
This image was taken as the sun was about to set through a narrowing gap in the enroaching clouds - very dramatic.
