The promise of a sunny, warm Saturday in late September 2020 was all the excuse my wife Liz and I needed to head to the seaside.
But instead of our usual excursions along the North Wales coast we decided to venture further afield and head down to Barmouth and the stunning Mawddach estuary for a change.
We had a great day, and even managed a walk across the famous wooden railway bridge, crossing the tidal estuary to the Fairbourne side.
After we'd come back from the far side, we dropped down to a small beach right by the bridge, and while Liz enjoyed the warm sun in the shelter of some rocks I set up my camera and tripod to shoot the hundreds of still images need to create this time lapse video, featuring the railway bridge itself, with clouds blowing overhead and the tide rapidly coming in and covering over the beach.
It was soon time to bail out or risk getting wet, so off we went to find the next beauty spot to enjoy in the lovely part of Wales.
