One of many famous welsh landmarks, this short video features the striking Barmouth Railway Bridge, spanning the tidal mouth of the Mawddach estuary as the river enters the Irish Sea.
My wife Liz and I took a drive down from our home in North Wales, passing through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park to arrive at Barmouth on a lovely sunny Saturday in September 2020.
After a walk across the bridge and back (something I've always wanted to do) we made our way down to the sheltered beach just underneath the toll house for a sit in the sun and a spot of filming as the tide made its way up the sand.
What a wonderful way to spend a day!
