An unseasonably warm Saturday in late September 2020 prompted my wife Liz and I to take a drive southwards from our home in North Wales, passing through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and ending up at the seaside.
Barmouth to be precise, at the mouth of the Mawddach estuary.
This coastal town is full of olde worlde charm, and home to the famous railway bridge across the estuary, which we had planned to walk across and back.
We parked just outside town in a convenient layby and walking back towards Barmouth gave us this lovely view out over the harbour and old fashioned boarding houses lining the seafront.
So we paused for a couple of minutes to allow me to capture a series of overlapping images in order to create this panoramic collage of the lovely coastal view.
And then it was onto, and over, the railway bridge, the start of which you can just see at the bottom centre of this image.
