A late September evening over the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in North Wales and the sun had long since set as I meandered my way back down from the summit of Moel Famau.
Out over the Vale of Clwyd to the west the sky was glowing with the rich colours of nautical twilight, punctuated by the red anti-collision beacons of the Moel-y-Parc transmitter and the far off lights of the North Wales coastal strip.
So who could blame me for stopping for a few minutes to admire the view and capture the scene in a photograph or two?
After all, you don't get light like this every evening!
