As a stunning sunset developed over the North Wales coast I was on hand at Rhyl, camera set up on tripod, to record the event.
A patchwork of clear skies and cloud provided the ideal subject for my Rhyl Sunset Timelapse #2 video, shooting the hundreds of still images needed for its creation as the sun played hide and seek behind the clouds on its way down to the western horizon.
This image is one of those hundreds taken on that April evening on the seafront at Rhyl, chosen for the dramatic and beautiful sunbeams bursting from behind the dark cloud hovering just above the horizon.
