Hiking around Llyn Crafnant in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, there's a lot of big landscape on offer to admire and photograph.
The lake, nestled between the forested slopes of the Carneddau mountains, is reckoned to be one of the loveliest sights in North Wales (or the world for that matter!), and you could be forgiven for thinking only of the grand landscape when confronted with such splendour.
But look away from the mountains and lake for a moment, and let your gaze wander over the smaller, but equally beautiful, little landscape tableaux by the side of the path.
Hidden streams bubbling over rocks, ancient trees and weathered boulders, ferns, mosses and lichens, all there just waiting to be enjoyed.
There's just so much to see if you look around.
