A day of lively weather over the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales in July 2018 found my wife Liz and I overlooking the beautiful and dramatic waters of Llyn Brenig as storm clouds and sunshine streamed by overhead.
We had parked up at a remote corner of the lake to enjoy a picnic while I left my camera, perched on its tripod, shooting the hundreds of still images needed to make my Llyn Brenig time Lapse #1 video.
For once my timing was perfect, as I'd just finished shooting when the heavens opened above us and I just had time to bundle my camera and myself back into the car before getting soaked.
I selected this single image from the hundreds taken that day to present here, as the light across the scene was just gorgeous, with the pink rosebay willowherb flowers in the foreground glowing as the sun briefly swept across the landscape.
