A lovely day spent touring and photographing the beautiful North Wales scenery ended up with my wife Liz and I stopping at the ever popular Llyn Brenig reservoir.
The weather was typical summertime North Wales, with a stiffish breeze blowing intermittent clouds and patches of sunshine over the landscape and sending waves of disturbed water across the surface of the lake.
Ideal conditions for a time lapse video shoot then, especially when you also have a flotilla of small boats moored just off the shore, swinging around in the breeze, plus a bank of pink rosebay willowherb flowers in the foreground.
You would be hard pressed to find a lovelier scene, and our time here was only brought to a halt by a passing downpour that had me running back to the safety of the car before the camera got soaked!
Oh well - without dramatic weather North Wales would be somehow diminished.
