In an area as beautiful as North Wales, a location has to be truly exceptional to stand out from the crowd, so to speak.
Such a location is Llanddwyn Island, separating the beaches of Newborough and Maltreath on the southwestern corner of the already stunning Isle of Anglesey on the North Wales coast.
This is a mystical place, with grass covered dunes, secluded sandy coves, volcanic rock outcroppings, wild ponies, the ruins of an ancient church, abandoned fishermens' cottages and two watchtowers.
With views out across the Irish Sea to the mountains of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula on the far horizon, everywhere you look there's a scene of great beauty to take your breath away.
But as an outdoor photographer, what I love about Llanddwyn the most is the quality of light here.
Especially at dusk, when the sky glows with the vivid colours of twilight as the far off mountain peaks catch the last light of the setting sun.
This image features the larger of the two watch towers at the tip of the island, called Goleudy Tŵr Mawr.
