Surely one of the loveliest places on earth, this is the wonderful Llanddwyn Island on the southwestern tip of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast.
I came here to film this sunset one evening in July 2019, not thinking I would stay once the sun had dipped below the horizon, just to the side of the iconic and much photographed watchtower, but in the end I stayed, mesmerised, until it was dark.
It was one of those evenings that just captured you, and as storm clouds rolled across from Snowdonia I just kept on shooting hundreds of still frames to make this time lapse sequence.
It was a good job I keep a torch in my photographic rucksack, as I finally made my back along Newborough beach, trying to find the entrance to the car park which was well hidden among the sand dunes that line this stretch of coast.
What a night though!
