There are some places near to where I live in North Wales that I know are 'go to' spots for a good sunrise or sunset, and the Marine Lake at West Kirby on the Wirral is one such place.
This is a place of big skies and uncluttered horizons, so it was the obvious place to go one Saturday evening after a rainstorm had just moved through and washed the atmosphere clean.
Well, Liz and I weren't disappointed, with the clouds from the tail end of the front swirling around overhead and catching the low angled rays from the setting sun.
Forty minutes or so of shooting still images from the comfort of our parked car, coffees in hand, resulted in this lovely time lapse sunset sequence, looking out over the lake to the northwest.
Outdoor photography isn't supposed to be this easy is it?
