The post industrial town of Connah's Quay in North Wales isn't reknowned for its natural beauty, but in the midst of old industry and housing estates there is an environmental oasis - Wepre Park.
With Wales in a national coronvirus lockdown these local gems, quite often overlooked in favour of the marvellous coast and mountains just an hour's drive away, have taken on a fresh importance as travel is strictly limited.
So my wife Liz and I spent a happy afternoon rediscovering Wepre Park, walking through its diverse habitats alongside the babbling Wepre Brook.
And it was alongside Wepre Brook at various stopping points that I filmed the various clips used in this compilation video.
Maybe we shouldn't have ignored such local loveliness for so long!
