A glorious day in Snowdonia, with broken cloud passing overhead, bathing the landscape in a chiaroscuro riot of light and shade.
And what a landscape! I'm at the start of the path that leads from Llyn Ogwen up thought the Devil's Kitchen and onto the Glydrau.
To my left is the cornish pasty shaped lump of rock that is Tryfan, one of my favourite peaks in this area, and its flanks catch the patches of light and shadow as the clouds stream overhead.
A perfect opportunity to shoot a timelapse sequence while I eat my picnic lying on the grass by the side of the stream that flows out from Llyn Idwal.
If you look carefully you can spot two hikers coming down the path in the video, and apart from these guys I had the view to myself.
What a day! What a place!
