During our week long stay on Tenerife in the Canary Islands during the winter of 2020 my wife Liz and I made full use of our little hire car, driving the length and breadth of the island along twisty mountain roads.
That way we got to see some beautiful views of the volcanic interior of Tenerife, with opportunites for shooting dramatic photos and time lapse videos in abundance, helped by the unusually cloudy weather Tenerife experienced during most of our stay.
I shot the hundreds of still frames for this time lapse video from a layby overlooking the town of La Laguna, enjoying a dramatic sunset over the mountains, followed by the onset of dusk with the lights of the town coming on in the valley below.
Needless to say we got back very late to our resort in Costa Adeje, virtually on the other side of the island!
