A dramatic sky in the early evening of a gorgeous summer's day in 2021 led my wife Liz and I up to the cliffs overlooking the iconic South Stack lighthouse on the tip of the Isle of Anglesey just off the North Wales coast.
We'd spent the day on the island with family and friends, and decided to visit a few favourite haunts before finally heading home.
But with this view out over the Irish Sea to inspire me I couldn't resist setting up my camera to record the few hundred still images needed to create this time lapse.
Watching the final video I was suprised that it wasn't so much the clouds and sunlight that grabbed my attention, but rather the swirling tide streaming off the South Stack rock.
