A rare day off work with nothing better to do found me touring around some of my favourite haunts in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.
The weather was typical North Wales, with a good breeze blowing and full on cloud cover.
Never mind though, as I was looking to shoot stills for this timelapse video so moving clouds were a boon rather than a problem.
The first location shown is looking down the Ogwen Valley from the shores of Llyn Idwal, with the twin peaks of Pen Yr Olwen and Tryfan framing th fast moving clouds streaming overhead.
The action then moves to the shores of Llyn Mymbyr, looking west towards the Snowdon Horseshoe as waves batter the rocks at my feet - very chilly!
The next two clips of Snowdon itself were shot from the side of the road that runs from Capel Curig to Beddgelert, one of the most stunning drives in the Park.
The final location shown in this video is Llyn Padarn and Dolbadarn Castle at Llanberis, certainly a dramatic finale to a great day out.
