A day of changeable (to say the least!) autumn weather over North Wales had my wife Liz and I out and about in the Snowdonia National Park, re-visiting some of our favourite viewpoints in the hope of seeing and filming some dramatic weather and scenery.
Well, we weren't disappointed, with threatening storm clouds letting through searchlight-like beams of sunlight to play over the rugged landscapes below.
One of the best, and most photographed views, in Snowdonia is this one, looking westwards towards the summit of Snowdon and the surrounding high peaks of the Snowdon Horseshoe from the far end of Llyn Mymbyr at Capel Curig.
So Liz and I stopped here for half an hour or so to shoot the hundreds of still images needed to create this time lapse video, watching in awe at the titanic atmospheric forces doing battle over our heads.
