Dramatic weather (as usual!) over the Snowdonia (now called Eryri) National Park in the autumn of 2024 found myself and my wife Liz on one of our days out exploring this sensory wonderland.
With so many equally stunning views to choose from, it's hard to decide where to stop, but when the sky is this breathtaking you need an equally stupendous landscape to set it off against.
So we headed along the A498, skirting Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) on its way down the Nant Gwynant valley, and we stopped at the popular overlook giving this full on view Snowdon with those heavy duty storm clouds streaming across the high peaks.
Of course, it was time for a time laspe video shoot, and with patches of sunlight streaming across the face of the mountain I lost no time in setting up my camera and tripod inthe stiff breeze to record just a few hundred still images ofthe scene before the clouds closed in completely and the landscape in front of me turned grey.
And then it was off on the next leg of our drive around this stunning piece of God's creation, just a short drive from our home.
How blessed are we!
