Over to the western side of the wonderful Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, USA, lies the Never Summer Mountains range.
While on holiday here, my wife Liz and I drove hundreds of miles around the park, with the Newver Summer Mountains being about as far as we got westwards.
Much less popular than the more developed area around Bear Lake, the Never Summer Mountains seemed like a true wilderness to us, with magnificent scenery and, thankfully, good weather when we visited.
This short time lapse video hopefully conveys something of the wild beauty we enjoyed while exploring this stunning location.
