The North Wales coast is a veritable weather battleground, as air masses clash and collide in the atmosphere overhead.
And while this doesn't make the beaches of North Wales ideal sunbathing country the titanic forces playing out in the skies above certainly make for interesting photography!
This time laspe sequence is a prime example.
Filmed from a car park high in the hills above the seaside town of Prestatyn, this time lapse video captures some impressive storm clouds and downpours over the turbines of the Gwynt-y-Môr off shore windfarm in Colwyn Bay.
However, the rain eventually moved inland and I had to draw the shoot to a rapid close, ending in a dash back to the car before myself and my camera got a good soaking.
