A few days spent exploring the beauties of mid-Wales in July 2021 wouldn't have been complete without a visit to beautiful Penmaenpool at the head of the Mawddach estuary in southern Snowdonia.
With its Grade 2 listed wooden toll bridge and 17th century George III public house, all surrounded by the rolling Snowdonia foothills, Penmaenpool packs a lot of scenery into a small space.
So it was no wonder that I spent a happy half hour on the riverbank, capturing the hundreds of still images needed to create this time lapse video as lovely summer cumulus clouds rolled by overhead and the odd car and caravan zipped over the bridge.
Just a lovely day at a lovely spot.
