The shapely peak of Pen yr Ole Wen (Head of the White Light), the most southerly peak in the Carneddau range in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, is featured in this real time video.
Filmed by the side of the run-off stream from Llyn Idwal, and with broken cloud painting the landscape in a patchwork of sunlight and shadow, conditions couldn't have been better for a springtime hike in this stunning landscape.
So while my wife Liz enjoyed a sit in the sun I and my tripod were balanced on a rock framing up this composition.
What a great way to spend a day just revelling in the beauty of God's creation.
