Moel Siabod means 'shapely hill' in the original welsh, and this mountain in Snowdonia, North Wales, certainly lives up to its name.
Photographed for this video from the far side of Llyn Mymbyr, with clouds streaming over its summit and the mountain's forested lower slopes catching patches of sunlight as they race across the landscape, Moel Siabod certainly proved a lovely sight in the late afternoon sun.
Mind you, I have a kind of love/hate relationship with the mountain, as it was on a climb up Moel Siabod that I tore up the ligaments in my left knee, putting and end to my more strenuous hiking and climbing adventures for a couple of years.
However, on a day like this I'm quite prepared to forgive and forget in return for such beauty.
