Late April and the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales have a fresh dusting of snow on the peaks from the unseasonably cold weather.
I just love conditions like these - cold clean air, fast changing weather and beautiful scenery to set it all off.
So, of course, my wife Liz and I took the opportunity to see all this loveliness up close and personal with a trip around the peaks of Snowdon, the Glydrerau and Moel Siabod.
Moel Siabod certainly lived up to its name (Moel Siabod means 'shapely hill' in Welsh) and with a bank of cumulus clouds blowing over its slopes, casting an ever changing dance of light and shadow in their wake, I just couldn't drive by without stopping for half an hour to record this time lapse video.
Such jaw dropping beauty in motion just can't be ignored, now can it?
