One of the most iconic sights on the North Wales coast, this is Thomas Telford's suspension bridge, the first of its kind, spanning the Menai Straits between mainland Wales and the Isle of Anglesey.
A beautiful structure in a beautiful setting, shown in this time lapse video shot on a very chilly January afternoon with storm clouds racing over the snow capped peaks of Snowdonia while the tide surges down the Straits.
Every now and then the last light of the setting sun found a gap in the clouds to bath the landscape in a roseate glow, adding another element of loveliness to the unfolding scene.
An hour well spent on the way back home from a jaunt around Anglesey.
