On a day trip around the beauty spots of the North Wales coast and Snowdonia Liz and I faced a dilemma - where to stop for our picnic.
Honestly, there's so many lovely places to choose from that we were in danger of starvation through indecision, but eventually we pulled into the layby on the road to Menai Bridge on Anglesey to look at the view over the Menai Straits and Thomas Telford's famous suspension bridge, the oldest such in the world.
While the picnic was being prepared I unpacked my camera and tripod with the purpose of taking a few still images of the bridge, set against the mountains of Snowdonia in the background.
Very nice, but a bit bland with a rare, cloudless blue sky not providing much in the way of drama.
But I needn't have worried, as you're never very far away from a cloud or two in this part of the world, and as I watched a street of fluffy white cumulus clouds started to form over the mountains and drift towards the bridge.
I rapidly switched to time lapse mode before the clouds got too far, and left my camera clicking away every two seconds while I was finally able to enjoy the picnic.
Half an hour later and the clouds had passed by and we were on our way to the next beauty spot, refreshed and blessed through seeing such loveliness.
