Although you can never rely on the weather in north Wales, you can rely on the tide!
Which was just as well for me, stood on the Anglesey side of the Menai Straits trying to make out the snow capped peaks of Snowdonia in the far distance, covered in a layer of haze that rendered them virtually invisible.
So I gave up trying to photograph the mountains, and turned my attention downwards to my feet where the ebbing tide was rapidly exposing one of my favourite shoreline features, an old, crumbling concrete and wooden jetty near to the wonderful Anglesey Sea Zoo.
A quick re-configuring of my camera and I was up and running, shooting the hundreds of still images needed to make this time lapse video of that decrepit jetty emerging from the Straits.
A lovely forty five minutes, which more than made up for not being able to see the snowy mountains clearly.
