A lovely evening spent with friends at Dinas Dinlle on the north Wales coast drew to a close with the sun dipping down over the Irish Sea, lighting up the shapely mountains along the Llyn Peninsula as a bank of clouds played in the skies over the peaks.
And I was on the beach in the warm summer breeze, enfolded in the sights, sounds and smells of the foreshore as the light of day slowly faded from the scene, with the tips of the mountains the last to relinquish the golden light of sunset.
And finally, when the colours of the day had turned to grey, I packed my camera gear away and headed back to my friends ofr a much needed cup of coffee.
What a beautiful country we live in.
