A sunny winter's day, following on from a few days of snowfall, had my wife Liz and I heading off to the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales to check out the views of snow on the mountains.
As sunset drew nearer we made our way down to the shores of Llyn Padarn at Llanberis, to check out the view back up the lake to the snow capped peaks of Snowdon and its surrounding mountains.
The wind dropped and the surface of the lake became a mirror, reflecting the clouds and mountains in its calm waters.
A perfect opportunity to shoot this time lapse sequence as the light from the setting sun played over the landscape before the daylight finally faded into twilight, drawing a cool blue veil over the beauties of Snowdonia for another day.
