A rare sunny day in the Snowdonia National Park found my wife Liz and I parked up at the end of Llyn Padarn, the lake that lies adjacent to Llanberis and points directly at Snowdon in the distance.
We'd just spent some time exploring the Fairy Glen in Betws-y-coed and had driven over to Llanberis for some tea and a look at the views.
What to do for half an hour while munching on a nice salad?
Well, in these situations I usually try and shoott he stills for a short time lapse video.
Taking a photo every two seconds I can have enough images for ten seconds or so of video after just twenty minutes, which is what I did here, capturing the movement of cumulus clouds over Snowdon and the antics of a couple of kayakers. (Is that a word?)
What a nice way to spend a half hour, and afterwards we went on the explore the slate quarries of Dinorwig, but that's another story.
