One of the most popular hikes in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is the route up Snowdon mountain following the Miner's Track.
Starting from the Pen-y-Pass carpark at the top of the Pass of Llanberis, the Miner's Track takes you past three lakes on its winding way to the summit of Snowdon, Llyn Teryn, Llyn Llydaw and Glaslyn, in that order.
I shot the stills for this time lapse video from the shores of the second, and largest of these three lakes, Llyn Llydaw, giving great views in the lovely summer sunshine out towards the peaks of Snowdon and Crib Goch, together with the surrounding peaks of the Snowdon Horseshoe ridge.
Easy to see why this particular route up Snowdon is the most popular!
