One of the loveliest views in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, is this scene overlooking the valley of Nant Gwynant and the lake Llyn Gwynant, as seen from the flanks of Snowdon.
There's a convenient scenic viewpoint, complete with ice cream van, to park up in and enjoy the beauty, and Liz and I certainly took advantage to enjoy half an hour's rest and relaxation here during one of our extended day trips around the park.
Of course, with those gorgeous cumulus clouds blowing across the sky, and the attendant play of shadow and sunlight on the landscape below, I couldn't just sit there without setting up my camera to record a few hundred stills to make this time lapse video.
A fitting momento of a beautiful place seen under perfect weather condtions.
