Surely one of the most beautiful lakes in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.
This is Llyn Cranfnant, nestled in a forested valley high in the foothills of the Carneddau mountains above the town of Trefriw.
My wife Liz and I come here quite often to enjoy the three mile walk around the lake, taking in some of the best scenery in Snowdonia in relative peace and quiet.
On this occasion, in early autumn 2021, the weather was just wonderful, with warm sunlight pouring down through broken clouds which, with hardly a breath of wind to speak of, were reflecting perfectly in the calm waters of Crafnant.
So before we started our walk we had a bite to eat while I spent twenty minutes or so capturing the hundreds of still images needed to create this time lapse video of the clouds and their reflections gently drifting by.
And then it was off around the lake, taking in the sights, sounds and smells of autumn in Snowdonia.
