My wife Liz and I arrived at Llandudno West Shore on the North Wales coast just a few minutes before sunset one lovely evening in August 2020.
Just in time, in fact, for me to set up my camera and record just a couple of hundred still images as the sun sank into a cloudbank on the western horizon over the Isle of Anglesey, in order to create this short, but dramatic, time lapse video of the clouds, lit by the warm slanting rays.
All too soon the sun disappeared for another day, and so did we, but only as far as the Great Orme, hoping to catch the full moon rising over Llandudno's North Shore promenade.
That's the thing about Llandudno, there's always something interesting going on to watch and film - but the moonrise is another story!
