It's rare to get a second bite of the cherry when it comes to outdoor photography, as you hardly ever get the same conditions twice.
However, with an unbroken spell of good weather towards the end of June 2018, I was able to have a second go at shooting this time lapse of the sunset over the limestone headland of the Great Orme at Llandudno on the North Wales coast.
My previous attempt, just a few days earlier, Llandudno Sunset Timelapse #8, was pretty good, but I was slightly disappointed in that the sun never made it all the way to the horizon, disappearing instead in to a bank of hazy cloud just at the critical moment.
So I was delighted to get this second chance, this time with a clear horizon resulting in a crisp sunset, together with an overlying mantle of light cloud which caught the twilight colours just after the sun had vanished.
Now where else can I shoot a sunset timelapse while this wonderful weather lasts? I'm just spoilt for choice on the stunning North Wales coast!
