A brief spell of fine weather was coming to a close in the spring of 2018 as a cold weather front moved westwards across the Irish Sea to impinge on the North Wales coast.
These times of atmospheric change are meat and drink to me, as clear blue skies get tedious pretty quickly from a photographic point of view, but the high altitude clouds that herald an approaching front I find much more interesting.
So I decided to make the most of the action overhead by heading to one of my favourite spots to watch a sunset though those lovely clouds, the West Shore at Llandudno.
And I wasn't disappointed, as a lovely dance of light and colour played out in the heavens as the sun sank slowly towards the horizon.
And the pleasure didn't stop at sunset either, with the clouds continuing to reflect the warm hues of twilight until almost all natural light had fled the scene and it was finally time to pack the camera gear away and head home.
