A beautiful day in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales and I was making the most of it with a hike around the otherworldly Dinorwig slate quarry, high above the town of Llanberis and Llyn Padarn.
With broken cloud scudding across the sky, painting the landscape in a dazzling display of sunlight and shadow, I was in an ideal spot to catch the play of light over the Vale of Llanberis.
So I took a half hour's break from my hiking to set up my camera and record the hundreds of still images required to make this time lapse video, from my elevated vantage point in the quarry.
Snowdonia is just such a stunning place, especially when it isn't raining!
