The liitle town of Varenna is considered by many to be the jewel in the crown on the shores of Lake Como in the mountains of northern Italy.
And having stayed there with my wife Liz for a couple of weeks I can find no fault with that arguement.
The town has a lovely lakeside promenade called the Green Way dei Patriarchi, which is where I planted my camera and tripod to capturer this time lapse video of dusk falling over the terraced houses and cafés by the side of the lake.
The only downside to the experience was the mosquitoes, and we finished our Lake Como holiday with a few extra lumps!
