I'm not normally in favour of filming and photographing at tourist resorts, preferring to showcase the beauty of the natural landscape when my wife Liz and I are away on holiday.
But for the small resort of Amadores on the south coast of Gran Canaria in the canary Islands I was prepared to make an exeption.
At the time of year we visited, late February, the sun was due to set into the Atlantic ocean just nicely behind a row of mature seafront palm trees, which, for me, was what swayed the arguement in favour of shooting this time lapse.
So my wife Liz and I spent a lovely couple of hours sitting on a bench watching the sun set and dusk fall over the sun loungers as my camera clicked away, with me just getting up to make the odd exposure adjustment as the light fell away.
Not quite as dramatic as the coast of my home ground of North Wales, but a lot warmer!
