One of the most popular hikes in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is the route up Snowdon mountain following the Miner's Track.
Starting from the Pen-y-Pass carpark at the top of the Pass of Llanberis, the Miner's Track takes you past three lakes on its winding way to the summit of Snowdon, Llyn Teryn, Llyn Llydaw and Glaslyn, in that order.
I shot the stills for this time lapse video from the shores of the third, and highest of these three lakes, Glaslyn, giving great views in the lovely summer sunshine of the impressive conical peak of Snowdon itself.
Easy to see why this particular route up Snowdon is the most popular!
