Back in April 2021 my wife Liz and I decided on a long weekend exploring the beautiful coast and mountains around Barmouth to the south of the Snowdonia National Park, Wales.
But the drive down and across from our home in North East Wales to Barmouth was a treat in itself.
Cutting though the mountains on the B4407 and the B4391 took us through some stunning scenery, and we just had to stop at the Cwm Cynfal viewpoint, overlooking Ffestiniog, to take in the view and have a bite to eat.
Of course, I wasn't going to waste the opportunity to shoot a few hundred frames while we we eating in order to create this short time lapse video, featuring a band of high altitude cirrus cloud sweeping over the undulating landscape.
And then it was onwards, through more stunning Snowdonia scenery, up to our holiday cottage above Barmouth.
Well worth the trip, even just for the drive on its own!
