With a forecast of mixed, but predominantly sunny weather, my wife Liz and I decided on a day out in and around Fairbourne and the Mawddach Estuary in Snowdonia on the welsh coast.
The first part of our day trip was spent high in the mountains at Cregennan Lakes at the foot of Cader Idris, and after a lovely few hours up there we dropped back down to Fairbourne to catch the views up the Mawddach Estuary.
The early evening conditions were just lovely, with a light breeze blowing fluffy cumulus clouds across the estuary and mountains while small yachts bobbed at their moorings as the tide slowly receded.
So we ended up staying in Fairbourne till late, just enjoying strolling along the shoreline, drinking coffee and, of course, taking photos and time lapse sequences to enjoy again and again.
