With covid travel restrictions lifted in Wales in early April 2021 my wife Liz and I took advantage of our hard won freedom to revisit some of our favourite places along the North Wales coast.
Nearing the end of the day we made our way to one of the best spots to watch a sunset from, the promenade at Deganwy, looking out over the Irish Sea to Anglesey and Puffin Island on the western horizon.
With clear skies and hardly any breeze conditions were ideal to shoot a time lapse video of the sunset and twilight, using a long lens to capture the actual sunset in all its drama, followed quickly with a wide angle lens to capture the twilight clouds over the rugged headlands at Penmaenmawr.
What a fantastic way to end a wonderful day out spent enjoying the beauties of the North Wales coast, discovered afresh after months of lockdown!
