Surely one of the premiere spots for watching dramatic sunsets, this time lapse video was captured from the promenade at Deganwy on the North Wales coast.
With big skies, tidal water, an uninterrupted horizon and interesting weather, no two evenings are ever the same here, which is the excuse I use for coming back to Deganwy to film again and again.
On this particular occasion my wife Liz and I were treated to a dramatic lightshow as the sun found a gap in the clouds near the horizon, resulting in some beautiful underlighting of the moving wrack over the Irish Sea.
The effect was soon over, but I'm so glad we were there to watch the show, and to capture the several hundred still frames needed to create this time lapse video of course!
