A midsummer's evening, and it's this time of year that I try and catch a sunset over the estuary of the river Dee at Connah's Quay, North Wales.
This is because at this time of year the sun will set as far to the northwest as it's going to get, which puts it directly over the chimney stacks of the Connah's Quay power station and the graceful lines of the Flintshire suspension bridge.
However, on this occasion there was a fair bit of cloud around, obscuring the sunset.
But never mind, as that cloud was providing me with some great time lapse action as the skies above reflected in the still(ish) waters of the estuary below.
And there's always next year, God willing!
