A week's holiday at Cromer on the North Sea coast of Norfolk gave me some great opportunities for shooting timelaspe videos featuring the famous pier.
Arriving very early in the morning (3.45am) allowed me to catch the transition from night, through twilight and dawn and on past sunrise as the high tide battered the sea defences where I was perched.
In the end it was the combination of high tide and stiffish onshore breeze that drew this time lapse shoot to a somewhat abrupt end as a particularly large wave sent a sheet of spray over me and my trusty Canon.
Fortunately the camera survived unscathed after a wipe down, and I'd captured enough still images to make for an interesting video of this rather lovely scene.
