Small boats bob at their moorings in the calm waters of the Conwy estuary at Conway on the North Wales coast as the sun slides slowly downwards towards the northwest horizon.
I'm here late on a summer's evening watching, filming and enjoying the view as day gives way to dusk and the heavens light up with the glowing colours of twilight.
You only get this view for a few weeks every year around midsummer so, of course, I'm determined to make the most of it, staying up late hunched over my camera just revelling in the beauty unfolding above and below me.
And the fun didn't stop there, as once I'd finished shooting this time lapse sequence I turned my camera through 90° to capture the stills for my Conway Timelapse #14 video, this time featuring the magnificent Conway castle.
