I love to be out filming at times of transition, and the time from sunset, through dusk, the various stages of twilight and on into night is one of my favourites.
The North Wales coast is a great place for this type of photography, as the towns and roads along the seafront light up as daylight fades away, exchanging the cool blue tones of twilight for the warm of artificial lighting.
A high vantage point helps here, and the newly built complex at Porth Eirias, right on the seafront at Colwyn Bay, gave me this great vanatge point on the roof to watch and film that wonderful transition.
